Yes, in Magento Gift Card a customer can use the gift card for the multiple purchases. For example, if a customer has received $ 100 gift card in the email. He can use $ 50 in a single purchase and remaining amount afterward. After the purchase, the customer will receive an email notification of remaining gift card amount.
After applying the partial amount i.e. $ 25, a customer will receive an email notification of the remaining amount.
